Thursday steak night - I think it's ~$12 for a ribeye, mashed potatoes, and garlic bread. I had it once and everything tasted great.
They have specials all the time, and usually some very cheap beers and shots available. If you're looking for craft beers this isn't really your place, but if you're okay with the standard fare you'll be fine. They have packaged goods available in the fridge also.
There's two pool tables, which is great. You can sit around at the bar or tables or go shoot some pool. There's a lot of regulars that go here, and there's a lot of people in the pool league that know each other. Very friendly place, I'd recommend it for the people-watching possibilities alone. -

Wow. I drove by this place a good 300x on my way to/from work for a year and I never went in. Which is odd for me not to stop in a corner bar. I finally went in today. There are more bar flies here then any bar i have ever been at. And I'm a bar frequenter. The draft beer tasted like sour piss. Why I got that I have no idea. The bottle beer was on ice and nice and cold. I was told the bar food was good so i went for it. Ordered wings - as hot as possible and extra crispy. They were delicious.
It's a dive bar. Which i love. But the flies i just cant deal with and bad tap lines -

No matter what food you order, it's always good. Several days a week they offer specials on food and beverages. It says something when it's standing room only on wing night!

Wow! Stopped in a few times and finally convinced the Misses to join me for lunch. We ordered the cheese steak and chicken steak sandwich both with a house salad. My wife asked for buffalo style and it was added happily. At $6.95 with a side it was fabulous. Quick and attentive service and a re-check several times to see if we needed anything else. Job well done to the barmaid who handled the bar and food orders and was really moving around fast to keep up with the pace. There is a large selection of beers and other drinks. The beer I chose was Miller Lite draft and we caught the happy hour at $1.00/per. The sandwiches were very large and filling. We wound up taking 1/2 of a sandwich each home. The bread loaves were about 12" in length so keep that in mind when ordering. It's not the Ritz but for a local Tavern with down to earth pricing and decent food I'll take it. I'll be back to give the steak evening special on Thursday a try. I like supporting local businesses and this one is a keeper.
Gave the Tuesday night wings a try. The waitress asked if I wanted 12. So the answer was yes. Had to wait, but I felt lucky as the place was packed. The guy next to me ordered his roasted with garlic. Had I'd known that I would have ordered the same. Had mine with buffalo sauce. Don't order the hot sauce. I ordered mine mild and they had plenty of kick and were good. I had a few Miller Lite's and as I said 12 wings. The total food and drink cost - $5.00. Yes, you heard it correctly. Wings were $3.00 and the beer was $2.00!!!
Have to try the Thursday steak night special or the tacos Sunday specials.
Call ahead for the "special" starting times. -

The place is a total dive and hidden gem. I typically only come on Tuesday because that's their Wing Night with 25 cent wings and dollar beers (domestic 10 ounces). That is an absolute bargain in of itself, and the fact that the wings are very good and the bartenders are sweet as pie is just sugar on top.
